Summer Kennedy was a Realtor with Keller Williams Realty… Summer, however, got fired by Keller Williams Realty. Why? I don’t know… I don’t think Summer knows either! Let’s head down the rabbit hole together… Shall we?

As you might imagine, there’s a lot to this story… A lot! Let me add some color…
Summer and her husband, Cody, recently bought some land in Missouri and, as you might imagine, they want to build on their newly purchased land but their choice of building material isn’t conventional… They want to build a home using shipping containers. I’ve seen some of these homes and some of them, honestly, look gorgeous.
I, however, will admit that I couldn’t see myself living in one of them but my opinion doesn't matter because I’m not Summer or Cody…
Summer and Cody’s neighbors aren’t Summer or Cody either… And that’s the point! Summer and Cody’s neighbors don’t own Summer and Cody’s property. The neighbors, however, believe that they are entitled to use Summer and Cody’s land because the previous owners, seemingly, allowed them to use the land which, for many years, was vacant.
I feel as though the neighbors are pissed, primarily, because they no longer have access to the land that Summer and Cody now own. I also feel as though the neighbors are using the fact that Summer and Cody want to erect an unconventional home on their property as an outlet for their collective anger; I, honestly, don’t think the neighbors care that the home will be built using shipping containers. The neighbors, in another show of force, have threatened to create a homeowner’s association (HOA) in an effort to stop Summer and Cody…
In response to a question posted on her TikTok video, Summer went on to explain her business relationship with Keller Williams Realty…

Summer’s relationship with Keller WIlliams Realty is typical of a real estate agent’s relationship with their broker whether the broker is in Missouri or Massachusetts… I would imagine that one of Summer’s angry neighbors got to the owner of that Keller Williams Realty franchise and threatened him or her in an effort to get Summer fired. The pettiness…
Summer and Cody, also, responded with class and dignity in response to a comment wherein a TikTok user might’ve wanted to, in retaliation, doxx her neighbors…

I am sympathetic to Summer and Cody’s plight… As a Realtor, I hate to see real estate brokerages cave to pressure. I’ve got a question…
When it comes time to choose a real estate brokerage, as a Realtor, would you prefer a brokerage that caves to pressure or a brokerage that faces pressure?
When it comes time to buy or sell real estate, as a consumer, would you want to work with a brokerage that has a reputation of caving to pressure or one that faces pressure?
I think the answers are clear…
